This week Belen High School will be hosting our 2nd Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences for the 2025-2026 School year. Your student's Student Development teacher should be reaching out to you no later than this Tuesday to schedule a meeting date and time. PSTCs will be held this Thursday, March 12th from 12:00-5:45PM and Friday from 7:30-11:30AM. It is imperative that students attend their PSTC in order to make these meetings the most productive. If you have not heard from your child's Student Development teacher by Tuesday, please do not hesitate to reach out to them to schedule a meeting date and time with them. Albuquerque Community Foundation offers a variety of scholarship programs to help New Mexico residents attain their educational goals. Over $150,00 in student aid is available for high school and college students!
Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are now open as of January 5, 2026. All applicants must complete the Eligibility Questionnaire before receiving access to the full application. Today at approximately 12:30 PM, a clothes dryer in the gym caught fire. Thanks to quick action, the fire was extinguished promptly. However, a significant amount of smoke spread throughout the gym, primarily affecting the Mini-Gym and Wrestling Room. No other areas or buildings were impacted.
As a precaution, emergency officials were contacted and have been working diligently to clear the smoke. They have confirmed that the space is now safe for use. Practices and games will proceed as scheduled today, as crews are finalizing the clearing process.
Please note that after-school pick-up and student exit routes are unaffected and will continue as usual.
