After collaboration and review of COVID-19 data with BCS Athletics Coordinator, Steven Contreras and Health Services Coordinator, Deborah Baca, the decision has been made to extend the pause from after school practices and workouts. We will continue with the current shut down for the next three weeks. At that point we begin Christmas break. We plan to meet on Monday January 4th.and discuss continuing workouts after the break is over. While this is a difficult decision, please understand that the coaches and athletes' health, safety, and wellbeing are of the utmost importance!

I wanted to give you all an update on a district decision that has been made regarding athletics. After discussions and collaboration with several coaches, Athletic Coordinator Steven Contreras and District Health Services Coordinator Deborah Baca, the decision has been made to shut down athletic practices for a two-week period. This will begin effective Monday November 16th and run through Thanksgiving break. On Monday November 30th, Coach Contreras, Ms. Baca and I will meet to see what direction we will take at that point. Once again this was a district decision that was made through discussion and review of data. The decision was made with the health, safety and wellbeing of all athletes and coaches in our athletic department. Thank you.
