Central Elementary Parents and guardians, in order to stay current with our safety guidelines we are setting a deadline of Friday, September 11th to make any changes to your child's program. After this Friday, we will not allow any more switching from hybrid to full remote or vice versa. This deadline will allow us to fully comply with the guidance set forth by the state. We know it is a difficult time and the safety of our children is number one on our list of importance. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Central Elementary is ready for the hybrid model which begins Tuesday Sept. 8th. If your student will ride the bus, make sure they are registered. The earliest that students are allowed on campus is 8:40 am. If you are dropping off your child, you must drive through the parent lane that is on the north side of the school and runs along Ross Avenue. Your child's temperature will be checked and screener questions will be asked before they are allowed out of the car. Students are not allowed to be dropped off at the front of the school. If your child walks to school they must use the crosswalk that is near McDonald's. At this time, we are not allowing parents and family members into the building. Dismissal time is 3:25 pm.

Central Elementary parents and families: tomorrow, Monday Aug. 31st begins our remote learning for the first week of school. Please stop by the school tomorrow for a drive through meet and greet from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. You can meet your child's teacher and most importantly pick up information, directions, and assignments for the first week of school. We are excited to meet you! Central Elementary parents and guardians of 5th grade students, your child's teacher will be available tomorrow, Monday, August 31st for a drive by meet and greet. Come by between the hours of 9 am to 11 am or 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm to meet your child's teacher and pick up important information for our first week of remote learning. We can't wait to see you!

Central Elementary parents and families: Lunches will be provided next week for all students. Monday through Friday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will be a drive up service. Lunch meals will include a breakfast for the next day.

For parents who need internet service, Internet Essentials (a product of infinity) is an excellent solution for many people. Hello CENTRAL ELEMENTARY families. The first day of school is Aug. 31st. All students will start the year with remote learning on Aug. 31st. Your child's teacher will contact you the week of August 25th with more information. Please stop by the school to pick up a back to school packet. All students must update their registration for the new school year. The office is open 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Central Elementary is ready to inform you of the days in which your child is assigned for the hybrid model and whom your child's teacher is. You may call the school for that information. Registration packets will be available starting next week. All students for both the hybrid model and remote learning will need to pick up a registration packet.

School supply lists can be found in the documents section on the website. From the Belen schools website click on sites, choose Central Elementary, then click on documents. We understand that some supplies may be hard find. We will appreciate whatever you can supply. We are not allowing backpacks this year due to Covid pre-cautions. Please plan on using a reusable tote and having your own school supply box as sharing of items will not be allowed.

Hello from the Belen Consolidated Schools Transportation Department. School Bus Ridership registration is now online. Bus registrations are posted on our webpage at www.beleneagles.org. From our home page select menu and from the dropdown list select Transportation Information. The Ridership Forms are posted in English and Spanish.
