Good afternoon,
To follow-up on our previous message. The only information that we have is that there are postings on social media saying that there will be shootings at each one of our sites. We have not found any proof that these threats are true. We are working with Belen PD. They will have an officer posted at each school site tomorrow. Again, we have no information other than what I have shared.

Good afternoon,
There has been a rash of messages on social media regarding the possibility of a school shooting happening tomorrow at all BCS sites including one that is no longer in existence. I want to assure you that we take all such reports seriously no matter how farfetched they may seem. In working with Belen PD, we have found no evidence to substantiate these claims. We will continue to remain on alert. If you become aware of any new information please share with Belen PD.

September is Attendance Awareness Month!
Dear Students and Parents,
As we kick off the new school year, we want to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance. Being present at school every day is crucial for academic success, personal growth, and building lifelong habits of responsibility and commitment. When students attend school regularly, they are more likely to perform better, stay engaged, and achieve their full potential.
In celebration of September Attendance Awareness Month, we are excited to announce a special incentive!
Students who achieve perfect attendance for the entire month of September—meaning they are present every day, from the first bell to the last—will be awarded a certificate of recognition along with a prize as a token of our appreciation for their dedication.
Let's make every day count and set the tone for a successful school year. Remember, every day, every class, and every minute matters!
Thank you for your commitment to being present and prepared!

Good afternoon. First, off we would like to thank you for a great start to the school year. In order to ensure a successful dismissal for all of our students, we ask that you refrain from coming past 2:45 pm to pick up your students from the office. Thanks for your cooperation with this request.

If you are picking up your child after school you MUST have a BLUE Pick Up Card . If you need your cards please come by the office. You will be asked to park today if you don't have a card. We have two pick up lines. North lot is for singles and front lot is for siblings.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

GSE-Hello Families! We are ready and excited for our first day of school.
We will start back tomorrow, Aug. 1st. at 8:41, with dismissal at 3:21. For drop off we ask that you please stay in your vehicle and use either one of the two drop off lines. We will assure they get to their teachers. Kindergarten parents may walk their child up to the front gates, Thurs and Friday. All kindergarten teachers will meet you there.
Please note for dismissal in the pick up line, you MUST have the NEW Blue Pick up Cards. We have two drive through lines for pick up. Single riders will be in the far North lot loop, Siblings will be in the Front lot loop.
If you still need to pick up the cards, please park in the morning and meet us at the tables out front.. If you don't get your card in the AM, you will be asked to park at the end of the day to come in to pick up your child and get the cards.
Thanks for your cooperation and patience as we kick off our new year! GSE is the place to be and we are happy you are with us.
