Good morning, Eagle families, I wanted to share with you information about the Cops to Tots program that is sponsored by the Belen Police Department and will provide Christmas presents to Belen children whose family signs up for the program. You can register at the Belen Police Department. You must have a current water bill for proof of residency. The deadline to register is Friday, December 6.

Good morning, Eagle families, Our apologies that parents, teachers, and families received PowerSchool Notifications in the early morning hours today.  PowerSchool experienced a coding issue that inadvertently sent out test notifications to all users.  PowerSchool has resolved the problem and do not expect any more early morning test notifications.

Good Morning Thunderbirds!! Our monthly Student of the Month Assembly scheduled for this morning will be moved to the afternoon. Kindergarten - 3rd grade assembly will be at 1:30 PM and 4-6 assembly will be at 2:15 PM

All Belen Consolidated Schools students will be on a two-hour delay on Thursday November 7, 2024. Staff is asked to arrive as close to their reporting time as the weather allows.

We are excited to announce that our school will once again be selling popcorn and pickles this school year! The funds will be used to provide rewards for our PBIS program, various student activities held throughout the school year, and Student Council sponsored events. The funds will also be used to provide meals for our teachers and staff during Parent/Teacher Conferences and to purchase tokens of appreciation for our teachers and school staff. Boba Truck will be here from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. October 11th - 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Any parents wanting to go to the Book Fair must check in at the Office and get a Visitors Badge.

Good afternoon, To follow-up on our previous message. The only information that we have is that there are postings on social media saying that there will be shootings at each one of our sites. We have not found any proof that these threats are true. We are working with Belen PD. They will have an officer posted at each school site tomorrow. Again, we have no information other than what I have shared.

Good afternoon, There has been a rash of messages on social media regarding the possibility of a school shooting happening tomorrow at all BCS sites including one that is no longer in existence. I want to assure you that we take all such reports seriously no matter how farfetched they may seem. In working with Belen PD, we have found no evidence to substantiate these claims. We will continue to remain on alert. If you become aware of any new information please share with Belen PD.

After investigating we believe no cause for concern exists.. Staff will follow up throughout the night with this incident. Good afternoon LME families, Our September attendance competition is live. Any students without absences in the month of September will receive a popcorn prize.

Good afternoon La Merced families. A physical altercation between two students in the courtyard led to a verbal threat to shoot up the school. Law enforcement was notified. After further investigation by law enforcement no weapons or immediate threat was found. All issues were resolved and all students remained safe.
