Tomorrow, August 24th, La Merced Elementary will be preforming an evacuation drill. Students and staff will evacuate to the Presbyterian church. Transportation will be available for students who are unable to walk. Please make sure that your student is dressed appropriately, with shoes and clothes that are comfortable to walk in. You may also want to apply sunscreen before sending your students to school and that your student comes with a water bottle. The road to La Merced will be closed starting at 9:00am until the evacuation is complete. If your student is late, you will be required to wait to drop them off until the school opens again.
