Good Morning La Merced Families: Just a couple of reminders: (1) Please make sure that in the morning drop off you are checking your rear-view mirror after your kids get out of the car and you pull out to leave the school. It is a very tight fit and we are trying our best to move the line as quickly as possible but there are many who are not watching their areas around them. To keep everyone safe, we need your help with this. (2) I have noticed an increase in the number of parents who are getting out of their cars after school to get their child. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED. WE WILL NOT BE DISMISSING STUDENTS TO YOU UNLESS YOU GO THROUGH THE PARENT PICK UP LINE. (3) We have seen an increase in parents coming into the office for early release because they do not want to wait in the parent pick up line after school. We will NO LONGER release ANY students for early release after 3:00 pm. Thank you for your help with these issues. From: Mrs. Montoya
